Credibility International is a Proud Sponsor of The American Heart Association

Credibility International is very pleased to be a Marathoner level sponsor of the 2011 Lawyers Have Heart 10k race. Lawyers Have Heart is the premier fund raising event for the Washington legal community in support of the American Heart Association and is one of the favorite annual road races for the Washington running community.

Tim Hart, President of Credibility International, said, “I have been personally involved with this event for nearly twenty years, first as a runner and then have been involved in sponsoring and supporting the event over the last several years. Currently I serve on the Lawyers Have Heart leadership committee as I see this as a key annual event where Washington’s legal community comes together to support the great work of the American Heart Association. Over the years, Lawyers Have Heart has provided my colleagues and me with a great opportunity to give both our time, financial support and of course our sweat to help promote heart healthy life styles. So, when we founded Credibility this past fall, we decided that Lawyers Have Heart would be our first and most significant charitable cause.”

As a Marathoner sponsor, Credibility will be providing one of the water stops for this year’s race. We think providing the water is symbolic of the work we do as it is hard to run a good race without water. Equally, it is difficult for counsel to succeed for their clients without the expertise we provide.

We ask that our clients and friends think about supporting this great event through your sponsorships, fundraising and participation in the 10K run or 3K walk on June 11, 2011. Please follow the link below to learn how you might support this great event www.runlhh.org

About LHH:
Lawyers Have Heart (LHH) is Washington’s largest 10K race. The annual event was co-founded in 1991 by Richard Frank, Founder and Senior Principal of Olsson Frank Weeda Terman Bode Matz PC and Alan Charles Raul, Partner at Sidley Austin, LLP as a way the Washington legal community could unite annually in support of the American Heart Association, fighting diseases which significantly impact people in their high-stress profession. Since its inception, Lawyers Have Heart has raised more than $7.5 million to benefit the American Heart Association (AHA), whose mission is building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. In the U.S. there is 95% recognition of the AHA name and a 98% favorable consumer reaction to the AHA logo, which translates into a unique and valuable benefit in partnering with the AHA.

More than 5,000 people participate in LHH, including Washington area private and government lawyers, members of the Administration, Congress and the Judiciary, law firm administration, summer associates and law students, Corporate America and members of the general public. The event also garners media attention; the 2010 race was featured in the National Law Journal, The Hill, Comcast and the Washington Post Express.

About American Heart Association:
In 1999 the American Heart Association set a bold 10-year goal: To reduce coronary heart disease, stroke and risk by 25 percent by 2010. We achieved the reduction in deaths ahead of schedule and made substantial progress against three of the six risk factors. Because of this success, the Board of Directors approved a 2020 Impact Goal: By 2020, to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent while reducing deaths from cardiovascular disease and stroke by 20 percent. The American Heart Association is hard at work every day improving patient care, advocating for better health, raising awareness and educating Americans. The organization is also deeply committed to research. Only the federal government funds more cardiovascular research than AHA.
