Ryan W. Wolfe, Former Senior Associate Chief Accountant in the Office of the Chief Accountant for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Joins Credibility International

Washington D.C., January 26, 2021 – Credibility International LLC today announced that Ryan W. Wolfe joined the firm as a Director.  Mr. Wolfe served in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Office of the Chief Accountant (OCA) from 2011 to 2020, most recently as a Senior Associate Chief Accountant in the OCA’s Professional Practice Group, which is responsible for consulting with registrants and auditors on the application of financial reporting requirements and advising the Commission on the development of professional standards for auditors and in its oversight of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).  From 2011 through 2018, Mr. Wolfe was responsible for OCA’s relationship with the SEC’s Division of Enforcement on matters involving accounting, auditing and financial reporting, including all aspects of the Commission’s Rule 102(e) program governing the appearance and practice of accountants before the Commission. This role included leading OCA’s reviews and consultations with the Division of Enforcement on a multitude of individual SEC enforcement investigations, and consulting with various SEC Divisions and Offices on technical accounting, auditing, and other policy matters relevant to OCA’s mission.
